The full documentation will be given to you after full payment, approx. 7-10 days before departure. Please note that flight schedules can still be changed. The final timetables will be indicated to you with the dispatch of your travel documents. Therefore, we recommend that you book train tickets or possibly accommodation in a hotel only at the receipt of final timetables.
Please note that our trips are calculated with a number of participants. If this number is not reached on certain departures, we reserve the right to charge a small group surcharge to customers who have already booked this trip or to cancel departure.
The national language is Thai. In tourist destinations and hotels, we speak English well.
The local currency is the Thai Baht (THB). We advise you to take Swiss francs (CHF) or US dollars (-) as well as a credit card (Visa, Diners, Mastercard or American Express). You can change your money at banks, currency exchange offices or hotels. Credit card or EC ticket ATMs are available in all major cities.
The time difference compared to Switzerland is 6 hours in winter and 5 hours in summer.
In Thailand, the main religion is Buddhism, on which 90% of the population depends. Buddhist doctrine is taught in all schools in the country and is an important element in the curriculum. Religion plays an important role in everyday life.
Environmentally friendly, since November 2017, a strict ban on smoking on many Thai beaches has been observed. Smokers will be able to retire in a dedicated space for them in the future. According to the information provided by the Tourist Office, if you do not comply with this directive, you should expect a heavy fine.
Depending on flight schedules, Bangkok city tour takes place directly after your arrival or on the last day of the tour. Please note that the minimum number of participants is 4.
