Start your day with a trip out of the city towards the Batu Caves, a huge limestone outcrop home to an elaborate Hindu temple. The caves are a popular place of worship for Hindus, with hundreds of thousands of traveling to the temple for the celebration of Thaipusam. For adventurous types, climb the 272 steps to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur.
Below the temple lies the Dark Cave, a two-kilometre long network of untouched caverns containing a many cave animals, including several found nowhere else in the world!.
After taking some time to explore the caverns we will make our way to the Genting Highlands. Breathe in the cool, crisp mountain air at 6,000 feet above sea level, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. The temperature ranges from 16 to 23°C all year round. It has two parks, Outdoor & Indoor Theme Park.
Stop at the cable car station and take a skyway cable car ride, with the sky above you and a tropical rainforest below. Ride up to the hilltop on the longest and fastest cable car in Southeast Asia, and take some time on your own to enjoy the local activities or the nearby casino.
