Your first activity is a quad bike adventure across the desert. Listen as your guide shares safety advice, and pick up tips to make the most of your quad bike safari. Once kitted out and ready, jump into the saddle and kick start your ride. Hit the gas as you tackle the undulating dunes, and feel the roar of the engine as you spin across the sandy terrain.
Spin up to the top of the dunes, and take in the beauty of the desert terrain before switching activity to sandboarding. You’ll strap the sandboard to your feet, point downhill, and go for it! There’s no need to worry about falling off – the sand offers a soft landing.
On arrival at the Al Khayma desert camp, experience Emirati hospitality with a warm welcome and a tasting platter of Arabic coffee and sweet treats. With the sun slowly sinking on the horizon, ride out into the desert the traditional way – by camel – and explore the desert as the local Bedouin people have for centuries.
As darkness descends over your desert camp, take part in traditional Arabic activities including shisha-smoking and henna-painting. Try on traditional desert attire during a fun Arabian makeover, and pose in your new outfits with the village’s falcon.
